Webex by Cisco is a web based video conference system that integrates with Canvas, WMU-Cooley's Learning Management System

Finding the Cisco WebEx link and Class Recordings in Canvas
Access your Online Classroom through Canvas. You will find the Cisco Webex link in the Canvas Course Menu for each course.
Joining a Cisco Webex class works best using the Chrome Browser. Firefox is a good second option.
After clicking Cisco Webex in the Canvas Course Menu, you will see the Recordings tab as one of the options. It can take several hours for a recording to show up after a class ends.
Using your Personal Webex account:
Log in at https://cooley.webex.com - login with your Cooley email address, and Cooley username and password
You can schedule meetings using your Cooley Google Calendar appointments - enter @webex as the location

1. Confirm your System Compatibility
Use the following link to connect to a Webex Test session:
Follow the prompts to install the Extension needed in Chrome and to install the Webex App.
Depending on your connection it may take a few minutes to complete this test and successfully connect.
Once connected you should see a screen that says either: “The Host has not yet joined” OR “Congratulations! Your system is now set up properly”. This shows that you are properly connected.
You may then exit the test session.

2. If #1 above does not work for you, use these instructions
If you have never joined a Webex session before, you will need to install the extension in Google Chrome.
The Webex add-on/extension must be installed before you can attend your class.
Once you download the Google Chrome extension, it will not need to be downloaded again for future sessions as long as you are using the same computer.
Google Chrome is required.
